2014 Fun Games / 2014 乒乓球賽

Hi Everyone,

The Fun Games this year is due to start on Tuesday, June 10th.

The preliminary games will now be held in two centres only, namely, the McConaghy Senior Centre and the Langstaff Community Centre, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The list of participating players are as follows:

Participants at McConaghy:

Women's Team:  Ursula Lacock, Emilia Negulescu, Sue Felisatti, Ms. Hong

Men's Team:  Jeff Wong, Dean Wang, Alim Harsono, Barney Matisko, Tardros Mauklouios, Yogi Kaicher

Participants at Langstaff:

Women's Team:  Amy Li, Linda Cheung, Mrs. Liu, Sandy Cheung, Cinderella Chu, Zhenzhu Zhou

Men's Team:  Kin Wah Chu, Wayne Chan, Chunlin (Tony) Yang, Wen Wu, Chung Shi Lam, Quxiang Lu, Ying Liu, James Wong, Alex Ginzberg, Ricky Tai, Mike Fung, Simon Ho,Edmund Li, Kurt Andre

The champions and first runners-up winning from the preliminary games under the respective 4 categories, i.e., Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles will enter the Grand Finals at Langstaff that is on Thursday, June 12th.

The preliminary games on Tuesday are principally on Single/Round Robin basis, while the finals on Thursday, will be Double Knockout.  Players among the groups will be umpiring and do the scoring themselves.

Free admission for both events.  Light refreshments will be served.  Awards will be presented after the Finals on Thursday.

各位會員,本年度乒乓 Fun Game 將在六月十日(週二)於McConaghy 及 Langstaff 中心舉行,時間為 9:00 a.m. 至 12:30 p.m. 

在McConaghy 參賽的球友包括:

在Langstaff參賽的包括:

(女)Amy, Linda, Sandy, Mrs Liu (劉太), 周珍珠, Cinderella Chu

(男)Kin Wah Chu, Tony 楊, Wen 武, Chung Shi 林, Qi 陸, Ying Liu, James Wong, Alex Ginzberg, Ricky Tai, Mike Fung, Simon Ho, Wayne Chan, Edmund Li ,Kurt.

在男、女 單、雙打中取得首、次名者均可晉身六月十二日(週四)於Langstaff 進行的總決賽.

週二的賽制採分組單循環,週四則採雙淘汰。(各分組賽員自行輪流作裁判及計分)

請各參賽球友於8:45 am ,準9:00 am 開賽,逾時作棄權論。

註:該兩天進場均不用打咭或付費。
      歡迎㑹員進場參觀。
      賽後(約11:45 am ) 頒獎及茶點。

A Joyful Potluck Celebration at McConaghy Community Centre

  16th December, 2025 our group gathered at McConaghy Community Centre for a potluck party filled with warmth, laughter, and good food. The timing was perfect—the centre has just completed a renovation, and the changes are immediately noticeable and impressive. A Fresh, Welcoming Space The newly renovated entrance is wider and brighter , creating a welcoming first impression. Inside, the assembly hall now feels more open and spacious , making it an ideal venue for community gatherings.
