Hello 55+ Table Tennis Players,

As we continue to slowly open up, we have some good news.

As of Monday, November 29, you will no longer have to pre-register for the drop-in table tennis program.  You will be able to go to a Community Centre and sign in at the front desk and pay with your punch card, cash or credit/debit.

Procedures for Drop-In Programs as of November 29

Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your desired program start time

Show your vaccination status and do a Covid Screening, continue to wear a mask in all common areas.

Come to the Reception Counter, scan your membership and sign the drop-in sheet at the counter.  Please print clearly and include your phone number.  You may want to bring your own pen to each session to sign the drop-in sheet.  Hand sanitizer will be made available as well.

Pay using your punch card, cash or debit/credit

Change your shoes/boots outside the gym on chairs provided.

Proceed into the gym/room to play.  When you are at your table, you can remove your mask but once you are finished playing or are wandering around the facility you’ll need to put your mask on.

As per the Ontario Government Guidelines, you are now allowed to play doubles.  We are allowing singles and doubles play during the session.

We are adjusting our maximums to allow a few more participants into the programs.  We are not able to return to pre-Covid program maximums at this time.

We will continue to look for ways to simplify the process to play as we move through this pandemic.  Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Please continue to play safe,

Kim Smylie
