There will be a Table Tennis Winter Skills Clinic at Oak Ridges starting on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for a duration of 4 weeks. Course fee is $35.57. Course No. is 416695. Minimum of 10 people to start the clinic. Below is the outline of the clinic:
1. The participants will be divided into 2-3 groups, judging from the individual's skill level by an assessment.
2. Accordingly, the instructor will collect the participants' ideas of HOW they want to improve their skill level . He will focus on small group coaching, likewise 1 to 3, or 1 to 4................, with limited table assigned.
3. The following skill and technique will demonstrate during the course:
- a proper serve and after strokes related, ( and game plan tactically )
- looping vs. attack drill, and related footwork
- flick ( flip ) shot, a contemporary skill to pick up
- chop ( short push ) inside the table vs. long chop mixed with looping
- play better level table tennis with proper body co-ordination, footwork other than simple arm swing
4. Certainly, any individual's request to improve the personal skill will be answered and demonstrated during the course.
