烈治文山市的長者 Hello, 55+ Table Tennis Players,
以下是 Jennifer and Kim ( 她們主理一切 烈治文山市的長者活動 ) 給大家的電郵。內容如下
Hello, 55+ Table Tennis Players,
Welcome back! It’s great to see you.
Jennifer and I understand that registering for table tennis can be challenging. If you know of anyone who wants to play but can’t register on a computer, please tell them to come in person to McConaghy on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.. They will need to show proof of vaccination, photo ID and do a Covid screening to enter the building.
In order to accommodate more players safely, we will be increasing the maximum number of people allowed to play per session. As of Monday, October 25, we have added 2 more spots to all of the table tennis played in gyms. The addition of 2 more players per gym session means that everyone will be required to rotate during the two hours so that everyone has a chance to play.
We recognize that the process to register before playing can be difficult but we have put these measures in place as per the guidelines from Ontario & York Region Public Health for your safe return to play.
Under no circumstances may you open doors to let non-registered players enter the gym. Anyone who does this will risk losing their membership and the opportunity to play table tennis.
We will continue to look for ways to simplify the process to play as we move through this pandemic. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Please continue to play safe,
Kim & Jennifer

Amendment to Provincial Proof of Vaccination Requirements
We are writing to notify you about additional instructions from York Region Public Health related to the Ontario government’s proof of vaccination requirements.
Effective October 1, 2021 further York Region Public Health measures require that all visitors to certain City facilities (i.e recreational facilities) age 12 years and older must show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and identification or a valid medical exemption. This means that youth under 18 actively participating in organized sport will no longer be exempt.
To enter, visitors must:
Show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (print or digital)
Show valid ID (e.g., health card, driver’s license)
Complete the screening form (RichmondHill.ca/Screening)
Note additional health and safety measures are in place once inside, including face-covering/mask requirements and physical distancing. If you are feeling unwell, please do not visit a facility.
Exceptions
Proof of vaccination is not required for children under the age of 12.
Medical exceptions
Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions are required to present identification and appropriate written documentation from a physician or registered nurse stating the individual is exempt for a medical reason.
Parents/guardians, spectators ages 12 and over, and all other visitors who do not meet the exemption criteria above must provide proof of vaccination and show ID before entering. Where adult participation and/or supervision is required, the adult accompanying the individual must show proof of vaccination and ID before entering.
All visitors, regardless of exemption, must still complete the online screening form at RichmondHill.ca/Screening before entering and must adhere to other health and safety requirements when inside the facility.
Those who wish to withdraw from a program can contact recreation@richmondhill.ca
Where applicable, you are encouraged to speak with your sports leagues and organizations for any additional requirements they may have implemented.
The health and safety of our staff and visitors is a priority for the City. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
For more information on the provincial proof of vaccination guidelines, visit the Ontario government's Frequently Asked Questions page or the Proof of Vaccination/Exemptions page.
Additional Health and Safety Measures
Face masks or coverings are required in all enclosed public spaces. Exceptions include people who cannot wear a mask for medical reasons, children under the age of five or those who require accommodation in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code. Learn more at York.ca/MandatoryMasks.
Signage is posted throughout facilities, including floor markers, to reinforce physical distancing and other health and safety guidelines.
Plexiglas barriers have been installed at front counter service areas and hand sanitizer stations will be available at all entrances.
