Table tennis golden game registration updates

Hi Friends,

We had a short but useful meeting with Kim Smylie this morning. (22 May 2014)

Please be informed that the upcoming Games this year will be played at McC and Langstaff only. It is still held on Jun10 and Jun12, with the latter date being the final.

The merging of 4 centers into 2 is due to the imbalanced number of players enrolled for the Games.

Kim Smylie is approaching personally the players affected about the change.

Also, she will invite Kevin Wu to act as our honorable umpire at the finals.

Taking this opportunity. we would like to thank both Michael Chan and Cora Chan who have promised to help as our coordinator for the games at McConaghy.

Also, we should also thank the following members who had, before today's meeting, expressed willingness to assist at the other 2 centers,i.e. Oak Ridges and Rouge Woods. They were Alim, David(Au), Ben and Charles.

Despite the change, I am sure they will continue to support the Games at the stipulated venues whenever needed.

Both Richard and Thomas will lead at Langstaff. You are welcome to help as volunteers at both McC and Langstaff.

Formal announcement about the change and further details will be given shortly.

We are grateful to Alex Wong who has been keeping us closely informed on the list of registration for the Games.

Will stay in touch,

Carlo
