 “37” 是一部中港合作電影。
導演是香港電影發展局的新銳陳國新。演員包括劉曉慶,楊采妮和林妙可。



當友人彭博士邀請我觀賞“37”的時候,我起初的反應老實說是少許
憂心,恐怕半場熟睡而失禮老友。我一年上不了一次電影院。
因為看一般的“流行電影”時總忍不住諸多挑剔,連自己也覺得掃興
兼討厭。獨立製作和實驗電影間中會帶來驚喜。可惜多數藝術創作
都有點玄,令我散場後一頭霧水,精神彷彿。
說起來也奇怪:有條理的平鋪直敘其實在日常生活中十分罕有,
毫不尋常,但藝術家門似乎仍然覺得要轉彎抹角才能突出創意。

一部以“37”為名的電影,據說片中不少草原風光和蒙古“有機”兒童
的歌舞場面,當然令我疑心頓起。於是看前做足了負面心裡準備。
想不到竟然是一部難得佳作:風光如畫,音樂恰當,故事動人。
劉曉慶和一班孩子們的演出清純自然。導演手法簡潔,恰到好處。均值一讚。

動人的故事不一定要劇情複雜。 “37”的迷人之處,就是能夠以簡單
的情節直透人心。我介紹看過的人,都說90分鐘內哭掉了整包紙巾。

一個香港的單身媽媽女強人(楊采妮)和小女兒(林妙可)到蒙古
半公幹半渡假。他們開頭對一切充滿戒心,連麵包車的座椅扶手也
要先鋪上紙巾才安心上座。結果經過小孩子之間的天真接觸和友情
發展,媽媽才茅塞頓開。一次的蒙古旅程,替母女倆帶來不少啟發。
故事就那麼簡單。寓意也很明顯。導演很聰明地沒有過份賣弄。

被金錢物質牽著鼻鉤著心過活的城市人,精神緊張疲乏。
到了相對“落後”的草原,面對所有事物都疑神疑鬼。既擔心衛生
條件不足,又怕被“窮人”敲竹槓,更怕蛇蟲鼠蟻咬。
美麗的大自然沒有臆想中的浪漫:遠觀還勉強可以,近玩則渾身
難過。相比之下,被大漠孕育出來的人胸襟遼闊,氣量坦然。
對他們來說,地在腳下,天在當前。
大自然美麗,可愛,可畏,神秘,慷慨,養育著大家。

自作聰明的人類不斷把環境改變。但曾經改造和被破壞的生態環境
,會反過來改變生活在其中的人的身心健康。這是自然定律,也是
因果循環。無可避免。

看過電影后,跟香港方面的製片人李志剛聊了半天。李志剛多才
多藝,是風險投資家,也是業餘音樂家和劇作家。多年來還管理
一隊爵士樂隊。他也是演講高手,十分健談。說到他的製作時
更是口若懸河。

“37” 源於鳳凰衛視王紀元先生的一個想法。據說王先生童年時曾經
在內蒙渡過,覺得很多零星族裔靠世代口傳的歌曲很容易被遺忘,
以至失傳。他希望統籌呼倫貝爾五彩兒童合唱團把不同方言的民歌
收集演出,拍成紀錄片,並邀請李志剛參予。李志剛一下子就被
37位小朋友的歌聲當場迷住。接著是一個想法引出另一個念頭。
在香港電影發展局和內地資金的支持下,原來計劃的紀錄片終於
變成了電影“37”。

李志剛將“37” 媲美 “仙樂飄飄處處聞”。但我覺得“37”除了有同樣迷
人的兒童演員和音樂之外,更帶有急切的時代訊息。生活在21世紀
的智人物質過剩,卻多方失衡。
看了“37”可能會對人類的所謂發展作出片刻反思。
